A Rate Check is the process of requesting pricing from the Supplier Marketplace. A customer’s energy billing data and contract preferences establish the bid scope for suppliers, allowing them to provide prices for the requested terms. The RateLogic algorithm then recommends a pricing solution through a digital Rate Check Report on the customer platform.
Do I have to pay for updates?
No. Software updates and new templates are included. Because the platform is cloud-based, updates and new features become available automatically.
Is my customer data secure?
PAL uses multiple levels of authentication so only authorized contractors or employees can view information. Confidential information is protected through security measures applied to utility passwords and energy usage data.
If I have questions, is there someone I can talk to?
Yes. PAL has a support team available to answer questions nine hours a day, five days a week.
Do I have to install anything?
No. The software is cloud-based, so there is no need for a dedicated IT department to run the energy platform. Users can log in, onboard customers, and request Rate Check Reports.
